8:00AM - 9:00AM (Check-in & Breakfast)
Get checked in for the day, find a seat, and have a light breakfast before we get started. 
 
9:00AM - 12:00PM (Session 1)
Kick the day off with an engaging case study! This team-based negotiation will test your existing knowledge of Black Swan skills. In this multi-faceted negotiation, you'll deal with negotiation internally, negotiating with a team at the table, dealing with distrust from your counterpart and how to price competitively. 
 
12:00PM - 1:00PM (Lunch)
Lunch is served. Eat, and connect with the other awesome attendees. 
 
1:00 PM - 5:00PM (Session 2)
In the afternoon session the attendances will learn:
  • Discover, guide and lead
  • Identify the underlying assumptions that are killing your negotiations

About the Instructors

Don Fieselman

Negotiation Instructor and Coach 

Don Fieselman is the instructor and coach at The Black Swan Group. He began his career as a police officer in Pocatello, Idaho in 1994.  2 years later, he was accepted to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) in Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent over twenty-five years there and worked most of his career in investigations. He became an instructor and taught local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel throughout his career.

Dennis Flynn

Negotiation Instructor and Coach

Dennis served the first 30 years of his law enforcement career with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, LVMPD, retiring as the lieutenant of the Robbery Section and the leading the agency’s hostage negotiation team.  He spent 18 years as a hostage negotiator, 10 of those years as the team’s leader, responding to over 1,000 barricaded, suicidal, and hostage incidents.

Sandy Hein

Negotiation Instructor and Coach

Sandy began her career as a police officer in Alexandria, Virginia, and wore many hats during her 23-year stint, including 10 years as a hostage negotiator. She was also a certified instructor with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services and served on the training faculty of the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance.

Will Chris be there?

No, we are sorry Chris will not be in attendance. Our top instructors will be there to teach. 

How many people will attend this event?

The event is open to 50 attendees only. You can expect to interact with each of our speakers, ask your negotiation questions, and network with other like-minded individuals who are hungry to make good deals. 

Are meals included with my ticket?

Yes, meals for the day are included. Breakfast will be served during check-in at 8am and Lunch at 12pm.

In between the morning and afternoon sessions, there will be beverages and snacks available as well.

What is the refund policy?

Things come up and we understand. That's why if you cancel up to 4 weeks in advance we will fully refund your ticket cost.

If you cancel within 4 weeks of the event, a 15% cancellation fee will be deducted from the cost of your ticket.

What should I bring to the event?

Bring your preferred note-taking devices (paper & pen).
