The Person
We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our collaborative team. This position is primarily inbound sales with some activity with outbound sales development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with measurable sales experience. The most prominent traits we seek in a candidate are coach-ability, being personal, driven, genuine, and engaging. As a Black Swan Group Business Development Representative, you will work directly with the Director of Business Development, Nick Peluso, and closely with the rest of the team.

- Experience with consultative selling techniques and diversifying the types of services sold

- Experience with CRMs (like Hubspot, Pipedrive or Salesforce)
The Responsibilities
- Qualify leads and follow up on inbound inquiries from potential customers.
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls to understand the customer's needs and recommend relevant solutions.
- Understand client’s needs and find appropriate BSG solutions - match with the right coach or relevant training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients through regular communication.
- Drive revenue growth.
- Manage and update the company's CRM database (Hubspot) with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Continuously analyze and optimize to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support fellow team members and actively contribute to individual and team growth.
The Products
What you are selling:
- Individual (1:1) coaching sessions with hourly rates ranging from $1,800 to $5,000 per hour.
- Corporate training and keynotes ranging from $15,000 to over $40,000.
- Individual coaching sessions are virtual, corporate training and keynotes are typically in-person.
The Quota
No sales quota!
- Target closing rates and dollar amounts measure Business Development Representative success:
- First 90-day benchmark range is $90k to $100k.
- A good quarter would be $300k-$500k in revenue - expected by the end of the second quarter of employment.
- Cycle for coaching is 4-weeks or less. The cycle for training and keynotes is 6 to 8 weeks.
The Training
As a member of our team, you will receive world-class training from the best negotiation experts in the industry and gain exclusive access to cutting-edge content.
- 90 minutes per day for the first week of 1:1 training with the Director of Business Development.
- Access to recorded classes, Master Training classes, and additional resources.
- Weekly practice sessions with the Business Development team and other Black Swan Group team members, including the Coaches!

The Salary
- The base salary for this role is $50k, with an OTE of $70k.
- In addition, we offer 4% commission for individual consultations and 2% commission for company training/keynote.
